Heya fellow nerds! Place your PokeWalkers aside for a moment and take a deep breath! Main Event is back! Its a simple format folks! You play a best of three series against your opponents! The first match will be played in Upside Down Mono rules! Its a personal and crowd favorite! Then you'll play in standard OU! All you traditionalists will be pleased with that! If by now you are tied 1 win each, your last match will be played in the aMewsements meta. So what Mew team will you have? So much fun in one tourney and its all happening here in Main Event 1!

You play for competition, fame and respect.

Note : There will be 3 teams used for this version of Main Event. Here are rules for all three teams collectively, immediately followed by specific rules for each individually.
Standard Rules
Level 100/Free Single
No Ubers w/ deoxys
Evasion Clause : No accuracy modifiers
Species Clause : No two same Pokemon
Sleep Clause : Only ONE Pokemon asleep on any team at any given time.
Players must choose ONE team to use throughout the tournament.
Players failing to meet deadlines will be replaced without notice.
Teams must be submitted to me and be ready for battle before the commencement of round 1.
Teams must NOT be changed mid-tourney without first informing myself and future opponents.
Players will conduct themselves professionally and fairly at all times, ensuring the honest and positive spirit of this tournament is maintained throughout.
The Tier List : View to ensure your teams are within the guidelines stipulated.
Please pm me your Teams (Items, Abilities & Movesets) Subs should do so also. Subs who pm me their teams first will be considered first should a position arise. Anyone who's circumstances have changed and their availability is compromised, please let me know asap. Thank you.

@adam well when this forums gets more active and stuff i invite the best battlers around and they compete against each other the get the title of main event

Preliminaries.

If your saying this is going to be an ongoing thing, you need to talk to me about it via PMs.
And you didn't say anything about times, how to join, etc.

Yeah like a main card of the best battlers and a prelims card for upcoming and not well known battlers.

Well, assuming this is what I think it is, why wouldn't we should have preliminaries that everyone has to get through to get into the tourney, and then the tourney itself? We probably wouldn't even need preliminaries, because with our current member base, we would have like two people in the tourney after the preliminaries (not everyone would be want or be able to be in it, of course).

No it's like an Invitational thing Jazz for the main event card, the prelims are for anyone though.

everyone can enter the qualifications if you reach kwarterfinale's you are in and then i give away 8 wildcards Smile

but thats later when there are more members Smile

and active ofcourse Very Happy

Say what we should set this one up like a UFC card in my opinion

5 main event spots
2 broadcasting event spots
5 prelim card spots

This is how I envision it.

That's what I meant by not working out.
It seems like many of the active people left the forum.
As of now, likeliness of starting this event is extremely slim.

WE can do this start rec ruiting everybody we need 24 battlers for this thing
